Museum of London - London Nights

On site during March constructing the museums latest block buster exhibition exploring the notion of light, night and the city.

 

Natural History Museum - Sensational Butterflies

The annual visitor opportunity to walk amongst tropical butterflies. We will be installing structures and graphics during March to the inside and outside of the heated marquee situated outside on the front lawn. Looks like its going to be a bit 'nippy' for the construction outside the tent!

 

Whitehall Museum

Following essential conservation and repair to this historic building TMP are installing bespoke joinery units and showcases to help tell the story of Whitehall and its owners. Installing through April and May, the building opens to the public again in June.

 

Wilson Gallery, Cheltenham - WOW

Appointed by the Cheltenham Art Trust, we are working on this design and build project with exhibition & museum designers HKD Ltd. Installation scheduled for April this year.

 

Royal Navy Submarine Museum - Silent & Secret

Appointed as a design and build project we will be working through the spring months on a scheme with museum exhibition designers GuM. Installation scheduled for May this year.

Retrospective!

Regular visitors to this page will note that we have been a bit quiet on the news front lately, too busy to keep on top of our updates........However all the projects for Easter 2016 were completed on time!!

 

Since then we have been fortunate to work with clients on the following projects:

 

National Maritime Museum - Above & Beyond, Nike Show Room, British Library - Victorian - All The Fun, Siemens Experience, Greenwich Heritage Centre - Permanent Gallery, RHS Chelsea - Kew Gardens, the stand even got a gold medal, Ashmolean Museum - Raphael Exhibition, Reading Museum - The Reading Story, British Library - Listen, Jewish Museum - Designs on Britian.

TMP hit the ground running in 2016!

A good start to the year at TMP with contracts secured for work at Museum of London, Docklands, Holkham Hall, The Wellcome Collection, Natural History Museums and the Ashmoleam Museum in Oxford. As each project develops we will provide more information..........lots of work to do before Easter!  

 

Royal Observatory Greenwich - Insight Astronomy Photographer of the Year 2015  

The Insight Astronomy Photographer of the Year competition is an annual celebration of the most beautiful and spectacular visions of the cosmos by astrophotographers worldwide. The winning images will be displayed in an exhibition, opening 18th September at the Royal Observatory Greenwich.

 

British Library - West Africa: Word, Symbol, Song

Opening 16th October 2015, this exhibition looks at the stories from the region's 17 nations, showing how West Africans have harnessed the power of words to build societies, drive political movements, sustain religious belief and fight injustice.  

Museum of London - Docklands

Soldiers and Suffregettes, The Photography of Christina Broom

TMP awarded contract to build and install the museums major exhibition of Christina Broom, considered to be the UK's first female press photographer.  

Sensational Butterflies : Natural History Museum

Now open to the public until 13th September.

British Library : Law, Liberty, Legacy 

Now on view to the public following the official opening by HRH Prince of Wales.

Science Museum - Media Space 

Setworks now completed for the new photography exhibition.  ‘Revelations: Experiments in Photography’ opens 20th March.

Sensational Butterflies at the Natural History Museum

TMP are delighted to be awarded for the contract to provide setworks for the 2nd year running. Looking forward to working for NMH on their now well established and popular outside exhibition situated on the front lawn.

Our latest project at Science Museum has now opened to the public.

Magna Carta : Law, Liberty, Legacy

Awarded latest British Library block buster exhibition . We have started on site, with the new exhibition opening 13th March.

Museum of London - new contemporary space

Construction of new cases and audio visual points to highlight selected items from the Museum of Londons vast collection, work scheduled for this Spring.

Richard III reinterment interpretation display - Leicester Cathedral

Adding to our increasing list of prestigious projects for 2015, TMP were selected to manufacture permanent interpretation units for this historic occasion.
